People often ask us if  controller/console modding  is legal. If you have ever been to a Best Buy, GameStop or any game retailer, you will notice that they don't sell modded controllers. This is because they risk their relationship with Microsoft, Sony, and other console makers if they did due to the term & conditions created by game makers.

However, adding chip components to an existing Microsoft or PlayStation controller is considered an upgrade or a modification. This is similar to changing a muffler on a car, etc.

In summary, Modded controllers are NOT ILLEGAL, but are considered cheating and aren't allowed on Xbox & PS3 Live. If this was completely black and White, then Microsoft would put a stop to this, but they don't because the reason is simple, it all comes down to money.

Modding companies and individuals spend millions of dollars on Microsoft and PS3 standard controllers every month, which increases their sales revenues. Why would they ever put a stop to this? Let's be realistic, we are their best friends since we buy controllers directly from them for customization and modding purposes.

Please keep in mind, we do not endorse online game play even though our controllers are 100% undetectable.

We hope that we have answered any questions you may of had regarding the legality of our products. We look forward to serving you.

Many Thanks
